WE ARE THE FELLOWSHIP OF GOD
(This is THE definition of the church)
WHAT WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN
The Holy Spirit of Jesus
The Presence of Jesus
All Spiritual Blessings
A Blank Check 2Cor 1:19 "There is no yes and no in Jesus. There is only yes."
WHAT WE MUST DO
Simple Commands of God
(God has always made it so simple for man. In the Garden they had one rule.
In marriage there is one rule for the man (love her)and the woman (honor him).
Jesus also gave us just One Rule for our Christian life and our Christian walk . . . )
Love One Another (how to treat each other)
Go into all the world (how to treat the lost)
Therefore we are free to do anything else for him. (whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord
Anything we can dream for Him we can accomplish, and he will allow and bless
WHERE SHALL WE GO?
Since we have the power . . .
Since we have permission . . .
We must grow in
knowledge
wisodom
gifts of the Spirit
numbers
We need to grow large enough to have a full time staff
We need to grow large enough to send missionaries
We need to grow large enough to make daughter congregations
We need to grow large enough to get a new building
DO WE?
(because we are a commuter church)
Remodel?
When our building is full should we move?
Where would we want to move?
What about the Spanish church?
(We need to start to make plans)
Or do we abandon our buildings and meet from house to house like the first century church?
(research Brother Cho and the Korean church - the largest church in the world is a house church)
For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building. By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, this work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. ICorinthians 3: 9 -13
